This year we once again join in England’s largest festival of heritage and proudly open the garden gates for visitors to join us FREE OF CHARGE.

Every year in September it brings people together to celebrate their heritage, community and history. Stories are told, traditions explored, and histories brought to life. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.’

Parking is free and conveniently located right next to the Walled Garden. We also offer accessible facilities within the garden, along with plenty of seating options throughout. Dogs on leads accompanied by well behaved owners are welcome to join us for Heritage Open Day. 🙂
