Group Visits at the Walled Garden
We would love to welcome your group to the Walled Garden. We have three options available for groups of over 15 people (smaller groups may be possible on request).
- Option 1: Visit to the Walled Garden with a pre-booked garden tour
Your group will stay together as you tour the garden (or be split into two parties for larger groups). Entry allows access to the garden and its historic service buildings for the entire day. Tours of the garden proceed at a pace suitable for the group, and if there are members of your party who use wheelchairs or have mobility issues, please let us know and we will do our best to assist them.
£7.50 per person - Option 2: Visit to the Walled Garden with a pre-booked garden tour and refreshment break
Your group will stay together as you tour the garden (or be split into two parties for larger groups). Entry allows access to the garden and its historic service buildings for the entire day. Tours of the garden proceed at a pace suitable for the group, and if there are members of your party who use wheelchairs or have mobility issues, please let us know and we will do our best to assist them. Entry also includes a refreshment break inside the Conservatory within the walls of the Walled Garden, where tea, coffee and biscuits are available.
£10.00 per person - Option 3: Visit to the Walled Garden with a pre-booked garden tour, refreshment break and talk
Your group will stay together as you tour the garden (or be split into two parties for larger groups). Entry allows access to the garden and its historic service buildings for the entire day. Tours of the garden proceed at a pace suitable for the group, and if there are members of your party who use wheelchairs or have mobility issues, please let us know and we will do our best to assist them. Entry also includes a refreshment break inside the Conservatory within the walls of the Walled Garden, where tea, coffee and biscuits are available. Option 3 also includes a fascinating talk on a pre-arranged topic chosen from our range of talk options (talks are researched, prepared and delivered by members of the Volunteer Project).

Further Information
Your party should allow approximately 1½ hours for the garden tour. Entry to the garden is valid for the entire day, and your group is welcome to spend as long as they wish in the garden once their chosen programme is over.
The garden has a rich and diverse history, reflected in the fabric of the buildings, footpaths and walkways. Wherever possible, we have made the garden accessible for wheeled access.
If your party wanted to include a lunch booking this can be accommodated separately at the Woodyard Brasserie. Please telephone them for details including menu choices on: 01582-879863.
There is also a garden shop open on Wednesdays, selling fresh produce harvested that morning, along with plants and flowers from the garden.
Payment would be required either by: full payment by card over the phone, BACS transfer, or deposit followed by full payment via one transaction on the day or in cash.
We have great availability throughout the coming season. However, to secure your place we would advise booking as soon as you are able.

So that smaller gardens can be part of the RHS Partner Garden scheme, free entry does not apply to members travelling as part of a large, organised group or in a coach.
