Groups can find out more about the Walled Garden and its surrounding unique service buildings either by ARRANGING A VISIT On OPEN WEDNESDAYS or by BOOKING A SPEAKER at your own venue.

1.  Booking a speaker at your own venue:

 Book a speaker for an illustrated talk at a venue of your choice or by Zoom. Various talks are available such as a popular option:

The History of the Walled Garden 18th-21st Century.

Fee: approximately £100 depending on the group size and location.

2. Group outings at the ideal location for a visit:

Your party can tour the historic Walled Garden and Victorian Dairy with a guide provided by our Walled Garden Project Volunteers. A talk including tea/coffee & biscuits, and/or a tour of the Victorian Farm Buildings can be added.

After a formal tour visitors are welcome to continue wandering around the garden and to visit The Woodyard Coffee Shop to take lunch ortea/coffee and cake – a great way to make a day of it!

we are open from 10am – 4pm.  A unique and wonderful way to spend wimt with your team members while learnign a little more of this unique ‘Capability’ Brown designed Walled Garden.

BOOKING OPTIONS (FOR 10 OR MORE PEOPLE)

 1. Garden tour (including the dairy) £7.50 pp

Guided Tour of the Walled Garden and Dairy: A detailed, dedicated tour of the garden taking in the glasshouses, back sheds and dairy. Walk through the vibrant garden, and garden buildings.  Learn about the history, organisation, plant growth, and the incredible work done by our dedicated volunteers.  Approx 1.5 hours

2. Farm buildings tour £7.50 pp

This extensive tour will take you through the Victorian Farmyard; learn about the history of the farm and its modern use as a film location. Approx 1.5 hours

3. Either of the above plus a talk with tea/coffee & biscuits  £15.00 pp

Enjoy tea/coffee and biscuits with an illustrated talk on the history of the Estate and the Walled Garden, followed by one of the above tours.  Approx 2.5 – 3 hours
