DESCRIPTION:Open Wednesdays 2026\nFrom the first Wednesday in May to the last in September we open the doors of the Walled Garden and welcome visitors to our unique Capability Brown designed walled garden and its unique service buildings. Entrance includes a fascinating tour of the walled garden and Supplementary tours\, including to the Victorian farm buildings and the tea and dairy house may also be available on the day (subject to availability).\nThe garden is best enjoyed at a snail’s pace\, entrance is for all day! Notice boards and displays are updated throughout the season allowing fascinating insight into the garden’s rich history.\nThis is our second year partnering with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS)\, and Historic Houses\, allowing free access to members throughout our open season. We are excited to welcome members to the garden\, service buildings\, displays and seasonal horticultural events (the ripening of the figs!) and know they will enjoy being part of the walled garden experience. Season tickets are available at the entrance kiosk offering incredible value for those wishing to visit the garden throughout the season.\nEvery effort has been made to make the garden accessible to as many visitors as possible. With that in mind we have recently finished resurfacing the area around the sundial making it far easier for wheeled access. However\, due to the age and rich history of the garden there are some areas that are not accessible by wheelchair. Please inform members of the Walled Garden Project at the entrance and every effort will be made to provide an alternative route\, provide commentary on the area\, or help with pushing if there are volunteers available. Disabled toilets are available within the conservatory.\nDogs on leads with well-behaved owners are welcome at the Walled Garden. \nEntrance is £7.50 per adult £2.50 per child and under 2’s and carers are FREE. \nParking is in an immediately adjacent car park with clearing marked disabled parking bays.\nPre-booking is not required.

Well – Rosalind and her cousin Celia flee to the Forest of Arden\, where they bump into Rosalind’s love interest Orlando. However\, Rosalind is disguised as a young man. DESCRIPTION:National Garden Scheme (NGS) 2026\n* Save the date – 7th August 2026 *\nEvery year we proudly partner with the National Garden Scheme and open the garden gate to raise funds for this incredible charity.\n‘Thanks to the generosity of garden owners\, volunteers and visitors we have donated over £70 million to nursing and health charities and in 2023 made an annual donation of over £3.4 million.
