The Conservatory has been designed with great flexibility in mind. Suitable for dining for up to 250- guests with a separate reception area and dance floor and for up to 400 guests for buffets and dinners.

Our experienced team of venue managers is here to offer guidance and support at every step of the way, ensuring you can relax and enjoy each moment when your special day finally arrives.

We have a wealth of diverse experience, from hosting elaborate outdoor weddings to being a secret filming spot for a well-known period drama. Our skills cover a broad range of events and special occasions, and you can be sure of our care and attention in helping you make your dreams a reality.

Weddings

The weddings quarter of the Walled Garden provides an idyllic setting for the beautiful Conservatory. Within the privacy of this unique location your wedding, party or celebration becomes a world of its own; dressed to your heart’s desire.

Inside the marquee there is a state of the art ‘starlight’ ceiling with pin-spot and atmospheric lighting that can be customised to your own colour scheme and styling.  The checkerboard dance floor is an exciting interior feature, complete with dramatic overhead club lighting. The stage and integrated PA system with microphones are on hand for those all-important wedding speeches.

We have your catering needs covered with our list of recommended caterers, all of whom we collaborate closely with. Alternatively, you have the flexibility to choose your preferred caterer once approved by our team.

Asian Weddings

Here at the Conservatory in the Walled Garden at Luton Hoo Estate our expertise lies in hosting magnificent Asian Wedding Celebrations. With extensive experience in understanding the desires and requirements of the bride, groom, and families during these special events, we excel at organizing Hindu, Muslim, and Sikh weddings of all sizes from extremely large to smaller more intimate gatherings.

From mandap and outdoor ceremonies to mehndi parties and Sangeets, all your ceremonial rituals and requirements are beautifully catered for.  We also provide discounts for these celebrations if they are booked alongside your wedding. Our garden is big enough for your scene to be set perfectly and our rose border makes an ideal promenade for dohl drummers to lead the way to the conservatory.

Here at the Conservatory in the Walled Garden at Luton Hoo Estate we have a long history of hosting the most memorable proms for schools and colleges in our area.  Whether it is year 11, 13 or 6th form this location can be tailored to treat the theme of this momentous occasion.

Did you know?

The Walled Garden at Luton Hoo Estate was designed by Capability Brown in the late 1760’s, over two hundred and sixty years ago.

The Garden has changed and evolved under successive owners to match the fashion of horticulture in the 19th and 20th centuries, and each family left their mark on the garden’s diverse story.

In 2001, a project began that placed the garden at its heart and now, just over 23 years later the work at the Walled Garden Project is largely carried out by an enthusiastic team of volunteer gardeners, researchers and historians who work alongside a restoration and conservation team, and a vibrant education team – All dedicated volunteers working towards a bright future whilst continuing to reveal a rich history.

Every booking at the Conservatory contributes to the continued work of the Walled Garden Project, allowing us to introduce this much-loved space to an ever-increasing audience.
